How usage is measured
Usage is commonly measured by requests (user messages / interactions).
Monitor usage
Recommended:
- In Dashboard, review Requests received this month.
- In Request viewer, review what users asked and filter by Response helpful?.
- Check usage weekly during the first month after launch (then move to a cadence that matches your traffic).
Tip: If you need to analyse requests outside EBI's AI Studio, use Export to CSV in Request viewer.
Reduce cost without reducing quality
- Add flows for the top repeated questions (reduces retries and “misses”).
- Keep Information sources current (outdated info increases repeated questions).
- Use Universal content to standardise responses (welcome message, unable-to-assist message).
- Review “No” outcomes in Request viewer and tighten the corresponding flow.
