Usage is commonly measured by requests (user messages / interactions). Your plan and billing will depend on your subscription and usage level.
Monitor usage
Recommended:
- Check usage weekly during the first month after launch.
- Watch for spikes (new campaigns, seasonal peaks).
- Use analytics to reduce unnecessary handovers and repeated unanswered questions.
Reduce cost without reducing quality
- Add flows for the top repeated questions.
- Keep content sources current (outdated info increases retries).
- Improve routing so users reach the right flow quickly.
